Concerto per solo violino

On 25th February 2025 at 9:00 pm the fortress will host one of the semifinal evenings of the International Award Antonio Mormone, organised by Fondazione La Società dei Concerti di Milano.
The Fondazione La Società dei Concerti organises the International Award Antonio Mormone with the aim to discover and to promote young artists according to the founder's mind and ideals.
The frequency of the Award is four-year and this second edition is dedicated to the violin.

The American violinist Elli Choi will be the guest at the fortress.
She is accomplishing the degree at the Columbia University where she is specialising in economics and philosophy, while at the same time she is studying at the Juilliard School where she studies since 2009.
She is the winner of the Classic Strings Competition of Dubai, Fritz Kreisler Competition and Qingdao Competition.
She worked together with orchestras like Philarmonic Orchestra Monte Carlo, Orchestra Juilliard, Philarmonic Orchestra of Novosibirsk, solo artists of chamber music in Salzburg and Philarmonic Orchestra of Sofia.
She held several concerts in the United States, in Europe and Middle East, in important spaces like David Geffen Hall, David H. Koch Theatre, the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, the Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Abu Dhabi Palace and National Center for the Performing Arts of Beijing.
